Position Details
Job Title: Flatbed Class A Driver (Local Route)
Location: Meridian ID
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (full time)
Pay: $26.00 per hour
- Elite Forces is hiring full time Class A Flatbed driver for our rapidly expanding needs. Must have a Class A license 12 months of EXP.
Operating Flatbed truck
Monday–Friday, approximately 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (occasional earlier start for shuttle runs)
Job Responsibilities: - Primary Responsibilities
- Flat bed driver operating straight trucks,
- Complete approximately 8 stops per day within roughly a 150-mile radius
- Conduct shuttle runs and occasional trailer drops between locations
- Deliver countertop slabs secured on A-frames
- Perform slab handling to prepare materials for customer removal
- Position slabs so customers can remove them using forklift/boom clamps
- Assist with aligning slabs and securing safe clamp/ placement
- Driver to verify placement and inspection of product to be placed correctly by forklift driver

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Flat bed experience
- Experience with Trailer 10ft spread axle (and this increases the turning radius significantly)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- 12 months tractor trailer experience in last 3 yrs
- Current Medical Card
- DOT Drug & Background Screening (Urine Test Required)
- Age: Minimum 23 years
- Driving Record: Good status (will review)
- Strong safety record and reliability
