Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Hybrid HVAC Installer / Service Technician to join our team. This is a dual-role position for a technician who can handle both system installations and service/repair calls. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
-Key Responsibilities-
Installation Duties:
*Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, etc.)
*Ensure proper system setup, refrigerant charging, and start-up
*Follow job specs, building codes, and safety standards
*Communicate with project managers and clients as needed
Service Technician Duties:
*Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues in the field
*Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups
*Provide detailed reports and communicate repair options to customers
*Ensure customer satisfaction through professional service
Requirements:
*3+ years of experience in HVAC installation and/or service
*Valid EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
*Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
*Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
*Ability to work in various environments and lift up to 50 lbs
*Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends, as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
*NATE certification
*Experience with smart thermostats, zoning systems, or home automation
*Familiarity with both residential and light commercial systems
*HVAC trade school diploma or equivalent training
