This is a working leadership position, meaning you will work alongside your crew while guiding daily field operations and maintaining the Artistree Standard of quality, professionalism, and craftsmanship.

Position Overview
The Crew Leader is responsible for leading field crews while actively participating in landscape maintenance and enhancement work. This role ensures that jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards.
Crew Leaders serve as the primary connection between field crews and management. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in the field, values quality and efficiency, and inspires their crew to work safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
• Lead by example by demonstrating Artistree’s Core Values and the Artistree Standard
• Train, mentor, and support crew members to build skills and accountability
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive work environment
Job Site Management
• Supervise daily job site operations to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency
• Coordinate with supervisors, managers, team members, and clients when needed
• Track job progress, time, and materials using company software
• Manage daily job-related expenses and submit receipts/documentation
Safety & Equipment
• Ensure crews are trained, equipped, prepared and operating safely
• Understand and enforce company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety standards
• Maintain daily inspection, care, and cleanliness of equipment
• Transport crews and equipment safely in accordance with company policies
Seasonal & Operational Support
• Support other Artistree divisions when operational needs require
• Assist with snow removal during winter months
Qualifications
• Minimum 3+ years landscaping experience
• Minimum 1+ years of landscape leadership or crew supervision experience
• Valid driver’s license required
• Proven leadership ability and excellent communication skills
• Ability to train and develop team members
• Must have strong attention to detail and take pride in quality craftsmanship
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus but not required
