Here we have a excellent R/C model airplane wing jig. It measures 10" wide and 36" long. It can hold a wing with a cord of at least 12". This will depend on the thickness of the ribs. The thinner the ribs the wider the cord can be. The rods are adjustable up to just under 7". You can build a tapered wing cord just by moving one end of the rods closer together. Cut out your wing ribs, stack them up, and drill (2) 1/4" holes in the ribs. Place them on the (2) rods at the spacing you want and glue the cross supports in place. When all is dry, take the jig apart and you have one side of your wing. I cannot remember the name of the company that produced this wing jig - but it works will! The price is only $8.00. Cash only.
