This is a 2000s desktop PC. It is not going to run any modern version of Windows but it runs many Linux variants just fine. Linux demands less than Windows. This has a 686 processor, DVD drive, a 234 MB hard drive, 3 GB of RAM, VGA display adapter, a 150 Mbps wifi adapter, and Centronics parallel port. It currently has a variant of Linux for controlling CNC equipment. I have been using it for that purpose but upgraded to a newer desktop with a 64-bit processor. It is free.
