I work on these machines professionally and I’m speaking from experience when I say this model of machine lasts decades in a gym setting, so it would be VERY difficult to wear it out on your own. NordicTrack sells a “commercial” 2450 treadmill for $2500 that requires a $400/yr subscription, but this machine will last 10x as long and there is no subscription or convoluted touch screen to worry about. Just hop on and run every day for the rest of your life, then pass it on to you kids. This is the smartest and easiest decision you’ll make all year, but only if you like getting a bargain on the highest quality machine.
