This Driver & 3-Wood has a light feel & is easy to hit straight, even for long hitters that sometimes slice it from the tee. They look good to the eye at set-up & produces a medium trajectory with good carry.
A smooth swing is all that is needed to produce solid contact & hit more fairways. The low leading edge of the 10.5-degree Driver makes it a good club to hit from the fairway (or from the tee into the wind) to reach long par-5s with no worry about losing to the right, as sometimes happens when hitting driver "from the deck."
These clubs are oversized & easy-to-hit but have a more traditional clubhead size & design than today's jumbo-oversized clubs & is suitable for developing a more precise swing & "sweet spot" contact due to its' smaller head size. A "high-draw" hitter found that these clubs consistently produced a slight draw & more accuracy than with other, larger clubs. The oft-dreaded "high hook" of the long-ball hitter was curtailed, likely due to a more balance swing weight & clubhead weight distribution than the more "bottom-weighted" jumbo drivers.
