Happy 4th! I am selling my mobile home to pursue a career building Fender guitars in California. Pretty cool right? I’m a lifelong player and collector so you can imagine that I’m excited. This also makes me quite motivated to sell my home which is a double wide 3 bed 2 full bath Nashua that was built in 1979 or 80. I believe it is just under 1400 sq ft. The home is structurally sound and located in a great family friendly neighborhood within 5 minutes walking distance of Eagle High and Eagle Island State Park. It does not need to be moved. The roof is perfect, needs nothing and has never leaked a drop. Ditto the ceiling inside. There’s parking for at least 8 vehicles. Have a huge RV? Perfect. You could fit two of them and still have room for 3 cars. The yard is huge both front and back and well shaded by large catalpa trees that also provide wonderful shade to the home all summer long. Perfect for your family pet. I have lived here since 2011. I am a non smoker. The management is very friendly and easy to work with. The rent is $700 per month and includes everything. Many of my neighbors have lived here for over 20 years. It is a very peaceful neighborhood with zero issues.

Naturally, I knew I was making this move so I’ve been preparing for the last 6 months. The house hasn’t undergone a complete remodel, as I’ve done most of the grunt work myself, but there are many new upgrades that I’ve contracted out to licensed people (which is important for new appliance warranties). All the big work has been completed in the last three months and is still going on this minute. The closer I get to finishing the work the closer I will stick to my asking price, which would be $125k maybe more. Market’s crazy right? But at the moment I’m pretty flexible and open to offers unless your offer is less than 100k. That’s just a waste of both our time. Upgrades include brand new high quality laminate flooring throughout the entire home. An industrial water filter connected to the main line inside the home. This ensures nothing but filtered water goes to the water heater and all faucets and appliances. A completely remodeled kitchen and laundry room with new unused appliances all under warranty. There is still plenty of work to be done. But nothing too crazy or expensive. And nothing you couldn’t save a ton of money on if you’re capable of doing remodel work yourself.
