These valve covers have been completely reconditioned. All dents and press marks when manufactured have been removed. They are now straight. The bolt holes are straight across and not staggered. These covers were taken to bare metal; all rust was removed. They were then epoxy coated, primed, blocked and painted. the inside is epoxy coated. All the refinish products are a high quality. The topcoat is a BASF basecoat, clearcoat system. They are not perfect, but very nice. This set of valve covers have a slanted end to them.
