I have taken these valve covers down to bare metal. I straightened them, epoxied and primed them. After the final sand I painted them with a high-quality BASF finish. They are not show quality, but they are very nice. The pictures show the damage repair on the inside. Also, the covers are from 2 different engines. You can see this in the pictures. The image you see on the covers is a reflection of a ceiling light.
