This very last baby, Ditto, is finally big enough for it's new home. Hatched on Dec 29th. Possible soft scale, quad stripe, gorgeous markings. Ditto is from 2 quality blood line geckos.
I have the family history and pics available upon request. Please note that I am not a breeder. This was an accidental pairing that I hope is finally done. Females can continue to lay viable eggs for 1+ years after just 1 time of pairing! I adopted from a well known local breeder because I wanted very healthy pets for years to come. This baby should be no different.
Rehoming fee $60
Can meet in Boise or Meridian. Ustick/Five Mile are my cross streets.
If you have any questions please ask. I can get you up to speed on what you need to know, how to care for these amazing little lizards. I'm also happy to teach you how to handle them if you don't already know. I recommend for mature kids 10 and up.
I have a plastic shoe box it can come in if you don't have something this size already. It will come with the items it's already used to for hiding as well. It's not pretty, but it's functional and baby is thriving.
Please note that this little one will prefer to stay in a small enclosure this size for about the next 6 months. You do NOT need to go buy some expensive glass enclosure right now. Maybe not ever. If you go big too fast they tend to stress out and become very skittish and difficult to handle. If your crested gecko is stressed and hard to hold, it might be you don't have enough "furniture" decor for it to hide in and feel safe from predators, or the enclosure is just too large. I've not found bigger is better for these sweet little creatures. I know the "recommendation" but that's for an adult!! Do NOT put this little tiny baby in a 24x24x18. It will be absolutely terrified!
Thanks for reading! Please reach out with any questions, for more pics or videos of this little one .
