I've played in Rock bands, Prog Rock bands, Country bands, Blue Grass Rockabily bands, 70's Funk bands, and New Orleans Funk bands. I also played jazz out of the RealBook for years but as hard as I try, I’m not a good jazz player any longer (I am, however, highly fluent in all things chords, theory & inversions). I play almost completely by ear. My curse is that I hear every wrong note played by everybody in the band - not that I want to correct all of it - I just know what it takes for music to sound great vs just ok.

Hit me up with recordings of what you’re doing. I have dozens of video and audio recordings playing lots of styles. I just want to make great music with other like-minded guys while my hands still work and with all these cool kb toys at my disposal because who knows just how much time we still have left on this planet to share our amazing gift of music creation? I don’t do band drama or "just" bar gigs. Life is to frigging short. Making money is great and we should all get paid, but I'm retired and I've made my money. Aging rocker? Yeah, ok, sure.
