I've got a lot of the pieces already in place for this project, but am still looking for bass and a lead guitar player. Ideally, I am looking for up-right bass. With guitar, regular rockabilly style guitar is kind of what we are going for. The ability to play chicken picken style country, along with slide and open tuning style blues licks is also preferred. I am very particular about tone; vintage, rockabilly/twang is what we are looking for: heavy reverb, tremolo, slap back, vintage over drive, etc.

Modern examples of Bands I dig: Deslounds, Charlie Crockett, Legendary Shack Shakers, Wayne Hancock, Luke Bell, Niki Lane, Justin Townes Earl, the first 2 Sturgle Simpson records, first JD McPherson record, ect.
The music will be a mix of originals with occasional covers of 50's, 60's and 70s country, blues and rockabilly tunes. Age is not that big of deal, but ideally 20s-40s is probably the best fit. The players I have lined up are in there 30s. We are all used to gigging around town. I also plan on recording in the next 6 months as well.
