Drummer looking for improvisation situation (Boise)

Am I looking to rock two chords back and forth over a lethargic Pink Floyd beat for half an hour? Nah. (And that's not to denigrate an entire idiom/praxis, but I'm looking for The Conversation.)
The Conversation: You know, like talking, but with instruments. The neat thing about music is that we can talk at the same time and it can work out quite well for all parties. Just ask Ockeghem.
(Actually, a prolation/mensuration jam would be amusing.)
Not interested in yelling at the same time. Willing to get weird.
