This is a great electronic kit to start on. It also comes with the seat, a nice pair of headphones, the kick pedal, sticks, and the rubber mats (which do a really good job of absorbing sound that can travel through the floors, I played this in a second story apartment for a few months, and never had a complaint). I originally bought this because I was travelling a lot for work, and a few months after it arrived, I quit travelling for work, so it doesn't have a lot of hours on it. Roland kits also have a great reputation for being hard to destroy.
