Recent set up. Sold with case. This guitar is in pretty good shape (please view pictures carefully for details). This is a “CustomShopEdition” and wasn't mass produced until after 1982. Serial number E 082. After contacting Gibson Guitars (case #00674855), they send the following response:

“This serial format was only used on the first thousand or so Chets, which puts this around late 1981 to 1982 ... “
