I am selling my precious Smart Mandolin. I purchased the mandolin in 2009. I hand selected each piece of wood and hardware used to construct the mandolin. This is a world class instrument capable of meeting the needs of the most accomplished players. The top is constructed using engleman spruce from a local tree and the back and sides are made from rock maple. The neck is Honduran mahogany topped with an epony fretboard. This mandolin produces the finest tone whether played at a whisper or aggressively.
