I need an experienced tile setter for several finish-quality tile projects on a property being prepared for sale.
This is not a training job. I need someone who understands layout, waterproofing, flatness, clean cuts, grout lines, trim transitions, and finished appearance.
Possible scope includes:
Bathroom tile work
Shower/wet-area tile
Backsplash installation
Tile repairs and corrections
Floor tile or LVP/tile transition work
Prep, layout, waterproofing, setting, grout, and finish details
The right person should be able to look at the work, identify what needs to be done, explain the best approach, give a realistic labor estimate, and execute cleanly without constant direction.
Requirements:
Proven tile-setting experience
Good eye for layout and finished detail
Ability to make clean cuts and handle edges/transitions properly
Own tile tools and transportation
Reliable, efficient, and able to work independently
Photos of past tile work strongly preferred
Pay depends on experience and scope. Open to hourly, day rate, or bid by project for the right person.
This is immediate work, with the potential for several projects if the first one goes well.
