Looking for one or two apprentice/newbie carpenter for a month long siding project in Fruitland with the potential for ongoing work in the treasure valley areas
We are a small carpentry business out of Meridian, we do custom framing, siding, interior and exterior trim, and have a secondary specialization in tile.
Requirements are that you have your own hand tools, tool belt, a willingness to learn, a good attitude, you must be comfortable on steep roofs, and ideally your own vehicle but we can arrange carpooling if necessary. This is not an easy job, we’re not slave drivers but we expect everyone to kick ass while they are onsite.
We work 40 hrs minimum. Pay ranges, generally 25-45/hr or the equivalent in piece work/by the job work.
We currently 1099 our guys, we don’t want guys that have an employee mindset, rather we prefer individuals who have an ownership mindset,
