We are a full-service tree company looking for a skilled and dependable Equipment Mechanic to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently. This role is critical to our daily operations and is best suited for someone who understands the demands of tree service work and medium duty trucks with hydraulics EVERYWHERE.
What You’ll Be Working On
Brush chippers (Bandit, Vermeer, Morbark, etc.)
Chainsaws, stump grinders, loaders, lifts, and support equipment
Gas and diesel engines
Hydraulic systems (diagnosis, repair, hose fabrication)
Electrical systems (12V/24V troubleshooting, sensors, switches)
Preventative maintenance and inspections
Fleet maintenance for trucks, trailers, and equipment logged into a stand alone program
Emergency breakdown repairs (shop and occasional field work)
What We’re Looking For
Strong mechanical knowledge of tree service or heavy equipment
Experience with gas & diesel engines
Solid understanding of hydraulics and electrical systems
Ability to diagnose problems efficiently and fix them right the first time
Organized, safety-minded, and self-motivated
Ability to work independently and manage repair priorities
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus (not required)
Preferred Experience
Tree service, construction, ag, or heavy equipment background
Fleet maintenance experience
CDL is a plus (not required)
