Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Looking for 24 hour care every day of the week. Ideally we would prefer 12-hour shifts so that there isn’t such a big period to try to fill if someone is sick, but we will consider 24 hour shifts for extremely reliable care providers.

About the Client:
The client is in the beginning stages of dementia and uses a walker for some slight mobility issues. The client’s primary language is Romanian, but can speak enough English to get by. He does get a bit verbally aggressive when frustrated, and it seems to mainly stem from communication issues so a Romanian speaking care provider would be beneficial, but at minimum this client needs patience and kindness.
Responsibilities:
The care provider would be responsible for preparing meals for the client and taking him on errands, and general oversight/stand by assist for bathing and other activities. A lot of it would be companion/supervision as he wants to be independent but needs to do things safely.
Ideal Candidate:
• Romanian speaker or comfortable interacting with someone with a language barrier
•Able to pass a background check through the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare
• Able to pass a urine drug test (Prescribed medication is acceptable)
• Must complete Direct Care Professional (DCP) Training or have equivalent training certificate (exempt w/ CNA/LPN/RN License). The agency can help you get registered for this training and there is no cost associated with it.
• Must have a valid form of government-issued Identification and proof of Employment Authorization to work in the United States.
•Able to follow HIPAA guidelines, document accurately, and communicate effectively with your client and with the office.
