208 Home care is looking for a compassionate, reliable caregiver to assist an adult client with personal care services.
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Looking for care Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, Approximately 6 hr shifts from 10am-4pm.
Location: Located in Meridian off of Meridian Rd & Fairview Ave
About the Client:
The client is in a wheelchair due to mobility issues and that makes it difficult for her to clean her home. She needs assistance with housework, laundry, and grocery shopping. Her granddaughter lives in the home with her but goes to school during the day. She has three dogs in the home, so the care provider must be okay with dogs. Female caregiver only. She loves crafting and currently likes doing diamond dotz art. The client is kind and gets along well with others.
Responsibilities:
She only needs stand-by assistance for mobility/transferring. The majority of the help needed is with light housekeeping, including dusting, emptying the dishwasher, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, laundry and grocery shopping. Care provider will not be providing assistance with animals in the home.
Ideal Candidate:
• Able to pass a background check through the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare
• Able to pass a urine drug test (Prescribed medication is acceptable)
• Must complete Direct Care Professional (DCP) Training or have equivalent training certificate (exempt w/ CNA/LPN/RN License). The agency can help you get registered for this training and there is no cost associated with it.
• Must have a valid form of government-issued Identification and proof of Employment Authorization to work in the United States.
•Able to follow HIPAA guidelines, document accurately, and communicate effectively with your client and with the office.
