Location: Meridian near Ten Mile and Chinden Blvd
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons from 1pm-5pm. If the care provider needs additional hours we can work with them to find additional clients to work with.
About the client:
This client is an adult that is blind but is otherwise pretty independent. She needs help navigating with her oxygen tubing to reduce her fall risk. She also needs help with meal preparation, medication reminders, light housework and companionship. She may need stand-by assistance with other tasks such as dressing and toileting, but she is generally able to complete these tasks without assistance.
Additional information: Client lives with her daughter who works during the schedule listed. They have two large but friendly dogs in the home.
Ideal Candidate:
• Able to pass a background check through the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare
• Able to pass a urine drug test (Prescribed medication is acceptable)
• Must complete Direct Care Professional (DCP) Training or have equivalent training certificate (exempt w/ CNA/LPN/RN License)
• Must have a valid form of government-issued Identification and proof of Employment Authorization to work in the United States.
•Able to follow HIPAA guidelines, document accurately, and communicate effectively with your client and with the office
