Athena is a 9 yr old mare titled mustang mare. She is 14hh tall and built well. I bought her last year with the intention of making her a show jumping horse, but she has a big motor on her and loves to go fast all the time. She w/t/l under saddle very well, and has a good stop on her. She would do very well in speed events. Stands for the farrier well, and trailers well. I’d say her only con is that she doesn’t really like to be asked to slow down when she’s riding with another horse. She’s never done anything dangerous but she needs a confident rider. No buck, bolt, or rear. She’s been hauled out quite a bit off property and does pretty well. She’s been under saddle for 3 years now. Definitely a speed walker for sure. I’m looking for more of a whoa than go, as she is way too much to go for me. Asking $6,500 located in Harper Oregon. Please serious inquiries only, no tire kickers.
