This is a excellent running Mercury 9.8 horsepower outboard boat motor. I just finished doing a lot of work to it to make it reliable and and ready to go. It has new water pump, new water line fiber o-rings at both ends, new powerhead base gasket, new exhaust manifold gaskets, fuel pump complete rebuild, new fuel lines with heavy duty clamps, new impulse line and the carburetor was cleaned and rebuilt. All genuine Mercury parts were used. No cheap parts. The engine starts easily and runs perfectly. It idles down really low and is perfect for trolling. It has Forward, neutral and reverse and shifts excellent. The fuel line fitting has been changed to the Johnson\Evinrude style for ease of use and replacement availability. Boat motor stand and fuel tank are NOT included. This is a steal on a very strong running engine that's ready to go. It would also be perfect for a kicker motor on a larger boat. I am only selling because I got a deal on a 2000 Johnson 15hp that I couldn't pass up.
