Mostly I leave it open for packing meat and then accessorize for pack in trips.
I started using the Eberlestock brand while living and hunting in Alaska years ago. Since purchasing the Mainframe for $349.00) I have packed out Dall sheep, goat, caribou, black bear, deer, and helped my brother pack out his subsistence moose last fall. I set this up with the large waist belt as I got bigger once moving to Meridian and proceeding to gain some extra pounds. If you want to go to the standard size belt they carry those and you can just sell the larger one on line as I have done before. I have taken extremely great care of this pack as it is a fantastic tool at every level. It literally still looks brand new! See "Tucker " down at Eberlestock Boise, 2980 W MainSt., Call and see if he will help you set it up to fit your body shape (I'm 5'10" 250# so if you are too it will fit you and if not it's an easy fix that you might be able to do your self I'm just to lazy any more...) set this up to custom to fit you as you are customizing using some of the numerous accessories available to you, if you pick my pack up quickly. Downtown store does run out of stuff the closer to hunting and packing seasons it gets. I was just down there Saturday 3/7 and they still have a good supply of most of the most wanted accessories in most colors. I have sold many Eberlestock packs, accessories on Craigslist thru the years and I very simply stick with Dry Earth/Coyote theme not the camo as then someone new had to like that and believe me more people like the solid than the camo... Come buy the pack from me and I'll tell you more hunting Alaska stories that you can take and the great thing I have the trophies in my house to prove it! My hunting partner since 1978 is also a taxidermist :-)
