Omega Engineering, Inc Model 199 199A-JC-XX Digital Readout Meter Thermometer. Someone roughly wrote a "K" with pen over the printed "J" in "199A-JC-XX" on the model label. The date code looks like it was made the 25th week of 1987, but not positive on that. The outer cloth cover is frayed on the probe, but the plastic covers on each wire are intact and fine. See picture.
