Position Objective:
Perform the testing, data collection and verification of production pumps and components following established test procedures. Maintain the testing facility and all associated equipment, hardware, software, etc., including maintaining the database of test data. The Test Lab Engineering position works closely with Application and Product Development Engineers to ensure testing meets the requirements of the test request.
Specialized Knowledge & Experience:
Produce clear, concise and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Present ability to plan and work independently and without extensive supervision.
Hands on experience in servicing mechanical products and/or pump systems. Familiarity with centrifugal and air-operated diaphragm pumps a plus.
Experience in a testing environment w/Data Acquistion System a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform the testing & performance verification of new or existing products.
Evaluate in-coming test requests for clarity, completeness and determines if testing is possible with equipment / systems in-place.
Maintain all testing data, instrumentation & calibration requirements
Work to revise/improve the test request process, data retention & lab capabilities
Perform other duties as assigned.
