Issues
Latch to rear door kept saying door ajar so we unplugged it. Common in the edge. Easy to repair but currently we don’t open back hatch. All parts still in car to reattach. This messed with the backup camera.
Needs a new key. I clipped the key which allows me to unlock manually but will need to purchase new fob for remote entry.
Crack on passenger side windshield. Doesn’t affect drivers ability to see.
When I purchased it, teenage driver ford “my key” was activated. This allows the car to only go 80MPH, volume will only go up for far, volume can’t be used unless driver is buckled. Just needs a factory reset. Not sure how to do that. Or if this is for a teenager leave it on. 🙂
99% of the time it fires right up, once in a while it just take a couple seconds to fire up. New starter probably in the distant future. Just want to be transparent.
This is a 13 year old car. I would recommend getting it checked out by a mechanic if you would like.
