Price varies based on difficulty and cost of parts, but a general price list is below:
General PC services:
- Computer cleanup/virus removal - $50 (flat rate)
- Remote assistance session - $50/hour
- Computer upgrades - $50-$75 + part cost (depending on how many upgrades)
- Custom computer builds - $100 + parts
- Data transfer/backup - $50/computer
- Hard drive data recovery - $50-$100 per drive (depending on the issue with the drive)
FRP/Google Unlock: $75
- I can unlock most Android phones that are locked to a Google account (Factory Reset Protection)
- You will need to provide some sort of proof of purchase for the device, I WILL NOT unlock a stolen phone/tablet for you
Simple repairs: $30-$50 (plus parts cost)
- Capacitor replacements
- Simple PCB repair
- Non-complex part replacement (any through-hole components and non-complex/non-heat-sensitive SMD repairs)
Complex repairs: $50-$100+ (plus parts cost)
- SMD part replacements (LEDs, diodes, ICs, etc)
- HDMI ports (usually around $100 due to complexity)
- Small BGA SMD components
Cannot/will not:
- Complex BGA or SMD soldering (RAM chips, CPUs, etc)
- Wiring runs for wiring Ethernet in a house, but if you need help terminating the cable ends I can help there
I have years of experience with computer builds, repairs, upgrades, software fixes/installations, and more. I can perform most electronic soldering jobs, I have replaced HDMI ports on PlayStation and Xbox systems (all models), replaced joysticks on gaming remotes to fix stick drift, replaced and externally flashed a BIOS chip on a PC motherboard, replaced a burnt-out SMD resistor on an excavator control board to restore the full functionality of the entire excavator, and many other repairs.
I can also design custom PCBs and help you get them fabricated from a service like Oshpark or DKRed.
