Vintage FONTANINI DEPOSE Italy Fishing Girl Figurine Carrara Marble Ba - $14 (Nampa, IDAHO)

This is a beautiful Fontanni Italian Sculpture with Carrara Marble Base. It has been in my mothers showcase for several decades and is beautiful and signed. She recently passed and so we are liquidating some items. This is signed on the back see last photo on base (left edge in gold) "DEPOSE ITALY 726" and then on right side artist signature "SIMONELLI") . Also has original gold label on Back of Base "GENUINE CARRARA MARBLE MADE IN ITALY" Plus the original Gold Paper Tag for Fontanini that reads (in italian and english) on inside "Hand Painted by Fontanni in respect to colours and traditional costumes." This wonderful girl is sitting there on the stand with two fish in her basket and appears to be showing off her fish. She is 7.25" tall and the marble base is 3.5" by 2.25". The sculpture itself is a very durable resin. In excellent condition only noted for accuracy a couple small flakes of the marble on the right side edge (see last photo) and appears to be true to original manufacture and does not affect value. Comes from smoke free and pet free home.
