A Buoy from the 1950s, SS Constitution / Honolulu. A cherished souvenir from a well known ocean liner.

The Constitution was a sister ship to the SS Independence. This ship was featured in many films/ TV features.
Sadly it sunk, north of the Hawaiian Islands while under tow to be scrapped in 1997.
While the Buoy shows much wear, one canvas strap unsewn but still present, nylon rope not broken but chalky/flaky, it is still in very solid remarkable condition. Would look beautiful in a display piece and preserved forever.
30.5" outside, 16.6" inside, the buoy itself - 7" across and 4" thick.
Remember, the time to buy something like this is when you see it, odds are you'll never see another one.
