The book itself is hard board cloth covering and weighs 4 pounds. Brand New Condition and amazing reference and price guide for Commercial Perfumes. If you are a perfume collector or antique Dealer this is a MUST HAVE. Large hardcover book 12.25" by 9.5", 269 pages. Has original Schiffer post card w/ Price tag by Lafayette Schoolhouse Antique Mall where it was purchased. The book is by Jacquelyne Y. Jones-North, 3rd Edition. Published 1996 with Values and is a Schiffer Book for Collectors. There are 500 color photographs and 350 Black and White, Price Guide, Directory Section of all Perfumiers with Dates of Scents they trademarked. Color photographs of Perfumes Pages 8-180. Ads and Patents Section is Pages 181 -228; Perfume and Manufacturers Directory Pages 228-226; Index Page 263-265; Price Guide Page 267-269. There is also the forward by Ken Leach in front with Acknowledgement and Table of Contents. Truly an amazing book considered the best reference w/ color photos for commercial perfumes. The last photo is the original price tag when this book was purchased.
