If you are a collector or dealer these are great for resale on the internet or in your antique shop or mall space. I'm on supplemental oxygen and in my 70's so am pricing these cheap so you can make a nice profit if you want to resell. It's too much for me to package these up and ship them off if I wanted to sell on the internet like etsy or ebay. The large scalloped bowl alone is valued $275 to $350. This bowl is photographed in the last 5 pictures of the post. Too many items to post all individual pictures so if interested, let me know and I can put up a table inside and let you view them. ALL PIECES ARE THE SOLEIL (YELLOW BACKGROUND COLOR) and is the last of my quimper collection and I have two reference books included in price. Pictures do not do these any justice. But please view all pictures. Some of the pictures show faded colors but that is FLASH GLARE from the camera. For sale are: (1) Huge Fish or Serving Platter featuring the Breton Lady measure 24" long by 9" wide; (2) 9.5" Rare Round Plate w/ Breton Lady; (3) 8.5" Casserole Top w/Breton Man (Perfect for hanging on wall); (4) 9.5" by 5.5" Gravy or Sauce Boat w/ attached underplate; (5) Sugar Bowl w/ Breton Man 5" wide (handle to handle) and 5" tall; (6) Biscuit Jar or bean or casserole pot w/ Breton Lady is 8.5" wide from handle to handle and 7" tall; (7) Rare Large Older Quimper Scalloped edge bowl featuring Quimper Breton Man is 10" diameter and 3" tall; (8) 10" Octagonal Plate w/Breton Man; (9) Octagonal Platter/shallow bowl w/Breton Lady is 12.5" by 8.5; (10) 6" Square Rooster tile (not signed) and perhaps not quimper. All other pieces are quimper and signed and one piece 1895 to 1922 and couple other pieces are 1922-1945 and 5 pieces are 1968-1983 Mark. ALSO INCLUDED are two Quimper books (1) The large on by Adela Meadows "QUIMPER POTTERY" Like New 224 pages includes several hundred plus color photos, value guide, marks, in english etc. 11" by 9" (2) Like New "LES FAIENCES DE QUIMPER" 96 pages lots of history and color photos in french.
Overall these pieces are wonderful and the large fish platter there was an old restoration on the back portion and a couple of other pieces with small chip repair. Also the top finial handle to the sugar bowl was broken off over the years and previous owners filed down and repainted on that area where the finial handle was. Some other pieces have the typical glaze wear and or minor nics, tight hairline crack (cosmetic not structural), etc but All available for your viewing inspection. If you are interested I am open to reasonable offers.
