Choice of 5 Wood Cook Stoves. 4 are black Great Majestics and 1 is the red Home Comfort with water reservoir. Note: Three of the wood cook stoves are nickel plated, as original. Due to the high cost of nickel plating, three are painted with Stove Bright 1200 degree high temp paint in what is called metallic brown. Note the photo of the four stoves in a row. The two center Great Majestic stoves have paint vs nickel plating, as does the Monarch small cabin stove. Others are nickel. The painted stove are less than the nickel ones and seller may pay all shipping for them.
In the picture with 4 stoves in a row. The Great Majestic wood cook stove on the end or left side of the photo is sold, but not yet delivered.
Jeff Blanc from Boise Idaho has restored dozens of these wood cook stoves that date from the late 1800's to the early 1900's.
They are fully disassembled, bead blasted, all asbestos insulation removed, nickel plating applies in all areas where nickel was originally nickel plated and then fully assembled using new screws/hardware. No other modifications to these beautiful and fully usable pieces of art.
Each stove has the main oven and two overhead warming ovens. Each has the trivets and other trim that make them shine. Local cost just to nickel plate a single stove is now $2,500.
Check with local regulations to determine the depth from the back of the stove to the closest flammable material. Most people install a brick veneer with a 1" airspace gap to meet code.
Stoves weigh about 500# each, so they will have to be shipped by freight carrier and will be placed on pallets for shipping.
Priced from $6,500 to $8,500 depending on style and options. Have seen similar stoves priced at $9,500 with other vendors on East Coast.
Perfect for a cabin, lodge or ideal as a backup heating/cooking stove. Also, a perfect art piece for display in a home or business setting.
Note dimensions average 32" wide on each stove, 36" deep and 63" Tall. If they have a water reservoir for hot water, it adds about 18" to the width and about 25#'s to the weight.
New Monarch wood cook stove just added. Rare small cabin size. 27" wide, 31" deep and 60" tall. Weights about 400#.
Price quote to ship one of the large full size stoves to Ocala, Florida was $1,500 via Fed Ex Ground Freight. May be willing to split shipping costs with serious buyers on nickel plated stove or pay all shipping on stoves with painted trim.
Pay by cash upon satisfactory inspection with in person pickup or pay by direct wire deposit for out of state buyer shipping the stoves.
