Rent is lower than other one-bedrooms because you need to have willingness to tolerate maintenance disruptions.
(Rent shown is above the actual rent)--will be lowered when we are ready to show this unit, I just wanted to get the ad ready.
Also this unit is not vacant yet, so you need to be flexible about a move in date.
This unit is impacted heavily by the rest of the house, the owner/maintenance guys needs to go through this unit to access the house's mechanical room. When the rest of the house has a plumbing problem it can result in a leaky ceiling or the need for access to shut off the water.
It hasn't happened before--but like with any basement unit, heavy rain could lead to water on the floor.
This unit is impacted by the sound of other tenants walking on the floors above.
This unit has concrete floor and is not fancy in any way.
This unit doesn't get great light.
But it is a good price for the size and has an okay kitchen and a great location and most of the tenants we have had over the years have loved it.
Utilities (everything except internet) are included as is one parking space, an additional space can be added for $100 per month --parking during the school year is a challenge. No on street spaces exist in the area.
Sorry no picture of the bedroom or the bathroom. The bathroom is not great its like a bathroom from the 80's that has received zero upgrades.
