Beach Club is a well established tanning salon that has been educating its clientele for (15 +) years on the benefits of the indoor tanning experience. We take pride in giving each individual the attention needed for their specific skin type and recommending the appropriate level of tanning so that they achieve advanced results. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff provides a quality atmosphere that is professionally run, clean and relaxing. All of which help maintain the high standards that our salon has become known for.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Leadership – Set goals and objectives for the staff, operations and model how we work together as a team.
• Demonstrates a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events and sets a positive example for the salon team.
• Displays a “customer comes first” attitude by training and holding team members accountable for delivering “Above and Beyond” service.
• Coach, mentor and motivate the salon team to meet the salon’s operational and organizational objectives.
• Plans, identifies, communicates and delegates appropriate responsibilities and practices to the entire team to ensure a smooth flow of daily operations.
• Manages with integrity, honesty and knowledge that continuously support the culture and mission of the salon.
Business Requirements –
• Providing and executing management and sales responsibilities.
• Thoroughly educate customers and salon team on products and services offered.
• Solicit customer feedback to understand the wants and needs of the clientele.
• Manage salon inventory at the appropriate merchandising levels and communicate changes, needs or suggestions when necessary.
• Monitors and manages salon staffing levels to achieve and maintain operational requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Progressively responsible management and sales experience (2+ years). In addition, must have completed High School or GED.
• Ability to manage salon operations independently.
• Knowledge of customer service techniques.
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
• Organization and planning skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to plan and prioritize workload.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Physical Requirements
• Frequent standing, walking, bending and kneeling.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 30lbs.
• Constant computer/pos register usage.
• Constant talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
