I have a beautiful border collie in need of a loving home with a fenced in yard. I recently moved to an apartment and it's not fair to her that she has no place to run and play. She's good with kids, very loving and is spayed. I'll give you her collar, leash, and food bowl with her. I'm not sure how she feels about cats but she's used to living with another dog and is easy going. There is a small re-homing fee of $100. I have always had a high interest in sugar gliders since I first met one when I was 15 years old. I have always had a love for animals, I was a vet tech for 3 years & loved every moment of it. I have owned/fostered Kittens/cats, dogs/puppies, ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, horses, birds, hedgehog, and a few reptiles as well. I just moved into a new house and am finally ready to get a sugar glider, preferrably two females. Howdy! For quite some time now I have been taking care of a huge colony of cats. And I now have some that are for adoption. These cats have been treated with care, are ALL litterbox trained, have had shots and been tested for just about everything. Each one has his/her own personality and would make a wonderful addition to any family!

* Coconut aka MIRACLE KITTEN -
A few months ago, we heard meowing outside. Long story short, 8 hours later we pulled a mud-caked, emaciated, hairless, covered in you-know-what kitten out of the neighboring houses sewer pipe. She was almost dead. Now, a few months later, Coconut is healthy and thriving. Timid at first, but gets along great with kids, cats, dogs, etc. Not spayed, but has been tested for felv/fiv. She is a shorthaired black and white female, age approx. 13 weeks. You look at her now and you would never know that she was in that sort of condition - she is healthy as can be!

* Link
8 week old Link is a lovely little orange and white tabby male, shorthaired, who likes everyone and everything. He will help you take showers. He is a great little boy who isnt shy!

* Lynxie
Apt to his name, Lynxie is a 5 month old neutered male. He is a longhaired grey tabby and is beautiful! Very gentle, he loves to play and gets along with everyone.

* Leon
Leon is Lynxie's brother and looks just like Lynxie! He is more playful, but still gets along with everyone. Also neutered.

* Mr. Rude
Mr. Rude is a 6 month old male, neutered, shorthaired and has the black and white pattern of a cow. He is almost a tuxedo cat! He isnt really rude...I call it "forcefully loving". lol He will headbutt you, not hard. But it doesnt matter what you are doing at the time. He loves to sneak up and cuddle, and lay with you in bed. He would be a great kid's cat.

At Northwest Animal Companions we are in dire need of people who are willing to open their hearts and homes to our deserving friends. We are swamped with phone calls daily from frantic people searching for somewhere to put an animal, often we are their last resort.

Most of the reasons people search for homes for their animals are out of their control. One particularly distressing situation was a serviceman being called to defend our country; he had his orders and was desperate to find a place for his dog. Thankfully, we were able to help him because of caring people like you. Sometimes an elderly person may be going to an assisted living center and can�t take their beloved pet. It�s a heartbreaking situation for all involved, but knowing that their beloved pet won�t be euthanized saves these people from utter despair.

There is no doubt about it, Foster families SAVE LIVES!

There are many reasons why animals end up homeless; typically it�s through no fault of their own. Some are dumped by their owners after suffering some kind of injury, sometimes they�re discarded for no good reason at all.

Fostering is not only a great way to help these guys, but it�s a great way to see if you�re ready for a pet yourself. If you think you�re ready for a dog but just not sure, why not try fostering?
We pay for vet care and food, and if it doesn�t work out we take the animal right back.
We are always in need of foster homes!

***Right now I have a lady who has lost her home and living in a homeless shelter. She has a 12 yr old lab that she's had since she was a puppy and needs a place to put it.
Tonight, the dog will be sleeping in her car...she was living with her daughter but the daughters rental was foreclosed on as well.

Riley is 8 years old and is an amazing pet and hunting dog. He is a purebred Elhew English Pointer. We moved to Alaska from Idaho for my husband's job and Riley is miserable. He is very energetic and needs to be with someone who will be able to hunt him as well as welcome his as a pet.

We got him through Wild West Kennels in Middleton, Idaho when he was a puppy. He is great with our children. When we got him our son was 2 and a couple years later we had our daughter. Riley is curious as any dog is, but very gentle with kids. He loves attention and is a great inside pet, but needs to be able to get out to hunt and run often. He is fairly docile inside the house, but ALWAYS ready to go if you even look like you might be going outside.

Riley has all his papers and is current on his vaccines. He is not neutered. He has a small pyloma (fatty cyst) under his front right leg in the armpit. It has never changed in size or density since it appeared about 10 months ago and does not bother him at all. After doing some research we decided to not have it removed.

but your dealing not with a sexual issue but a dominance one, for whatever reason your little guy has gotten it into his head that your sis is below him on the proverbial totem pole, hey he is a male so probably cute as all heck just not too swift :) My advice is whenever he displays this behavior then start in with some OB commands, it is important that your sis also works with him, if he starts humping then tell him off and then sit or down and stay, teahc the commands first though :) since he has this issue with your sis she should be the first one to give the command it will elavate her on the pecking order and he will begin to start seeing her as above him and not below him ha ha and yes pun intended.

The adoption fees of both dogs and cats are reduced (half, I believe) and the kittens are all spayed/neutered, wormed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Hi, we have a beautiful 1yr. old spayed female purebred Doberman that needs a new home. Her name is Harley, she's about 60lbs., is very playful and LOVES her toys and plays fetch. She is an indoor only dog and is housebroken and crate trained. Her ears are not cropped but are really soft and make her look less intimidating. Her tail is docked and dewclaws have been removed. My roommate moved out and left her 2 cats behind. I have called her to come get her cats and I was told to "throw them outside". Well, I'm sorry I can't do that. Its cold, they are older and they are used to a nice warm house. Its been about a month and she still has not returned for them. They are both neutered males. One is a orange tabby and the other is a black tabby.They are both very sweet lap cats. I can't keep them because I have to many of my own. They get along fine with my dog but then again my dog doesn't try to bug them. I don't want to take them to the shelter because they will just get put to sleep.
Please do not make snide remarks like I have seen other people do on here, I am trying to do the best I can for these cats that my roommate abandoned.

We have three adorable, very intellingent, clean pet rats in need of a home. My son isn't showing interest in them so they have to go.
They come with everything you need: Food, bedding, cage, water bottle, food dish, and a wheel they love to run on. They also come with a wooden shelter they like to climb on and sleep in, AND they come with a cute carrying case especially made for rodents, which comes in handy when you take them out of the cage to clean it.

Fine I will admit, I am a "backyard" Gorilla breeder....and proud of it! I only have 6 left (4 girls-2 boys), including "Larry". Mom and dad are on site! They are litter box trained and I will throw in a bag of sushi rice and a Fey-Ray doll with each purchase!

I was wondering how it works to adopt a Gorilla myself as for I have been searching for one for quite awhile now. How much does he weigh I mean we have a two story house, do you think he'd fit? We have other animals to, does he get along with dogs & cats? This is way to funny ty I needed a good laugh today as well. Buck is a gorgeous 4 yr old Rottweiler who was adopted from the pound when he was a year old. Poor Buck was just skin and bones back then, but now he's a beautiful, bouncy, happy go lucky fellow and has been well loved for the last 3 years. This is not an "outdoor dog", he must be inside with his family to be truly happy. Buck is very special to us at NAC~ he lived with a couple who fostered a lot of dogs for us, and he always welcomed every new dog who visited. Our Buck has never met a stranger! He also lived with cats, so this guy is handsome AND very well rounded! When it is cold out, he tends to have some stiffness in his hips, so he should be taking some supplements daily. Mellow for the most part, our squishy boy likes nothing more than to curl up on the sofa like the couch potato he is. He does have that Rotti attitude though and will let you know if something fishy is going on (weird noises outside!) so he's a good little guard dog. He needs to eat out of his own bowl and be fed separately because sometimes he will growl if another animal gets to close to the food dish (what happened to Buck in that first year?). That is ONLY with other dogs, with people he is not aggressive over ANYTHING. Buck is a special guy who needs a new home fast. We are working on getting a better picture~ this one doesn't do him any justice! Neutered, vaccinated and microchipped

I have five six week old kittens that are ready for a new home. They are all ready for new homes and have successfully been on dry food and are litterbox trained. They are amazingly sweet and love to play and be held. I have a five year old girl who has helped me take care of them and they absolutely love her. The kittens were born on Nov. 8th. Mom is siamese dad I am guessing Calico. Two of the kittens came out a dark calico, we named one Micheal Jackson, when you see her you'll see why, The other dark one we named Spike because she reminds us of the little guy off Gremlins. I have three siamese kittens also very sweet. One has a white stripe on her nose and another we call bugsy because she's got big eyes, and the other one looks like her Momma. These kittens have been raised in a loving active home and we hope to find them good homes. I am asking a rehoming fee of $30.00 to ensure kittens are provided with good homes.

Rather than re-homing your dog, why not be a leader? How about not letting her ... under any circumstances ... harass the cat? She's smart. She'll get it. Just takes time, patience and consistency ... as any dog training does.

Finding her a new home isn't going to solve the problem ... for her.

I've got a roughly 10 week old lab mix puppy that I can't keep. I was told he is half lab, half border collie by the person I originally got it from, I love everything about this pup, but my mom is allergic to it, so he's unfortunately got to go.
He's real sweet and loves to play, already can play fetch. He already got his parvo and rabies shots. He's real energetic, and is going to be a great dog with more training.

He's not house broken, but he does get that whenever I take him outside he's supposed to pee. He hasn't figured out the "don't pee in the house" part yet, but at least he knows when he's outside he's supposed to do his business.

I just saw two large turtles in Pets and Co. pet store in the Karcher mall in Nampa. One is a red-eared slider and the other is an eastern painted turtle. The r.e.s. looks like it has shell rot and its nails are all broken. The eastern painted looks better but both are in filthy water and there is no heat lamp or adequate basking area. I keep turtles and I just don't have enough room for any more. Hopefully someone will read this and rescue these great turtles. I'm not a nutty animal activist or anything but as a keeper of turtles for many years I have a soft spot for them. If someone would like to rescue them but doesn't know how to care for them I would be happy to lend some knowledge and advice. These turtles would make a great Christmas gift. They are fun to watch and easy to care for if you have the right set up.
