To the jerk hatin on Vers: Did you even check out this guy's page? Some of it is really good and the rest is pretty good. I'd give this guy a 6 on the samples and a 7 on the mic, which is pretty good for a small town underground scene. And he isn't even asking for money from the looks of it; he's trying to open up for a set or just DJ a party or two to get his word out. So you must be some big, badass on the mic to go around talking shit like that. Why don't you post a link to your rhymes, so we can all see what a "real" rapper is? Better yet, why don't you battle Vers to see wus'up? I'll bet you just trip over your tongue don't you. I am a non-professional violinist in the Boise Area looking for a Bible-based Christian Church to become a part of. I started playing the violin at age 10 and after a fairly short hiatus, I picked it back up 1 1/2 years ago. I have been training for 1 1/2 years with a violin/viola/piano instructor that has a Masters in Music Performance and Education. I am classically trained (meaning, I can read any Treble Clef sheet music), and, I am constantly working on ear-training for simple melodies/harmonies without sheet music. I am currently on the waiting list of the Meridian Symphony Orchestra due to all available violin seats being occupied.

The reason why I chose to pursue the violin again, after High School, was so that I could meet the expectations of a Church Body to add something dynamic to their worship music. Lookin for some talented people to get a metal band going. First off, I'm tired of hearing people whine about driving distance and asking the wife for permission, there is no crying in metal! If you are concerned with driving 20mins to jam or think you might have to ask the warden first, Don't Bother Replying! So, since we got that out of the way we can move on.

We have a huge list of influences so I won't bother writing them all out. We love the old Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera shit and jam it for fun, but we love Trivium, Avenged Sevenfold, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, In Flames, Opeth and so on. Our main focus is going to be originals. The style will be a mixure, I like mixing melodic and intrictate clean stuff with heavy harmonized metal. Think Trivium meets Opeth. If not familiar with Opeth, listen to "When", "The Drapery Falls", and "Harvest". That kind of depressing acoustic melody in the midst of some driving melodic metal. I can't stress enough, this is not going to be a one trick pony band. We are going to be mixing alot of different emotions, indepth and intricate guitar work with dynamic percussion and emotional vocals. Our main focus is melodic metal and tearing peoples faces off, but also shit that will make people feel something other than rage.

Age isn't a huge concern but people over 21 would be nice. If you're a older metalhead like us thats even better, just remember this ain't going to be a 80s metal band.

We're looking for a talented drummer that can keep up with us. Someone fast on their feet but original and creative. Someone willing to go against the norm and try different ideas.

For a singer we're hoping to find that one guy that is hard to find. Someone who can sing beautifully, sing gritty, and scream with power and emotion. Being a good lyricist is a plus but not required. Need someone versatile, someone capable of getting the crowd to feel what he's saying. The kinda guy that screams and the crowd feels his pain.

Also we aren't going to be jammin 5 times a week or anything crazy. We all got families, jobs, lives etc. We're hoping to jam over the winter atleast once/twice a week and start playin shows this spring. Send an email, include your phone # and we'll go from there. Thanks for reading.

We have a band that we are very passionate about. We play country, classic rock, some oldies, and are pretty open artistically for ideas, were really laid back and like to have fun, but we also know when to get down to business when we have a preformance to get ready for. We need someone who is reliable and can make practices we usually practice once a week, we understand your not gonna get rich and you need to have another job. So we can work our practices around job schedules. And on weeks when we have a performance we try to practice twice may be three times (get in a little mini-rehearsal before the gig).

We have a male lead singer, who is awesome he has a lot of power and soul in his voice. We have female backup vocals/harmonies, but if your interested in joining us, you like us, we like you, we all mesh well and you can bring vocals to the table that's good too, if you don't that's fine too. We need someone who can take constructive critisim, and not get pissed, it's all about growing and becoming better together right??? We would never say anything to hurt you only to help make the band better. We play mainly covers, but have a few original songs written too, and want to write more.... I sing back-ups and am also trying to bring in my keyboard skills on some of the songs we do, we also are looking for a bass player to get that more rounded sound. So if your interested you probabily will be talking to me or our lead singer, we have a pretty talened drummer so we're covered there. We have a regular gig scheduled once a month in a bar over in Fruitland, other than that we perform at weddings, birthdays, celebrations, etc. would like to get a 2nd or 3rd gig set regulary for each month, but for right now it works.

Hey all, been playin blues harp for over 10 years. I shred pretty hard and want to teach those who want to learn. I can teach you how to bend, improvise and play along with blues, rock, country, almost anything. Even if you've never played before, I can have you playing along after your first lesson. Keep in mind however, if you want to get good, it takes time and practice. You have to develop muscles in your mouth to be able to do what I do. Anyway, if you love the blues and want to learn how to wail on harmonica, I can teach you how. Lessons are $25/hr and you need to be able to provide your own harmonica. Can teach you the basics on almost any kind, however if you want to get more advanced I recommend either a Lee Oskar, Blues Harp, or Special 20. Also would be up for trades on a case by case basis. Hi!

I am a 21 year old musician looking for a band to play with. I want to play classic rock; covers and originals. I have over 13 years experience in singing (blues, jazz, classical, and rock). I also have over 9 years experience in guitar (blues, some jazz, folk, and rock). And to top it all off, I also play piano/keyboards. I am not the most skilled at the piano by any means, but I can hold my own. I love playing keyboards as well. I have very little experience playing bass, but I believe that I could pick it up quickly if necessary (I do not have a bass guitar however). If anyone is interested, just send me an email!!
