The Quality Systems Manager develops, implements and evaluates Plant quality programs to prevent or reduce process variation, product defects, and non-conformance's that increase business risk, reduce customer confidence, endanger or discontent consumers, or increase costs associated with poor quality.  The Quality Systems Manager uses qualitative and quantitative analysis to standardize operations, identify root causes, improve processes, solve problems and manage risks associated with poor quality and the improper application of quality principles.<p>This Manager works with the management team to determine appropriate process controls, eliminate or control sources of variation, and in developing improvements that increase efficiency without reducing delivered quality.  To accomplish these tasks, he/she must effectively lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, <b>implement, train and audit processes and procedures, and incorporate these procedures in document control program (QSI),</b> communicate and listen effectively to all personnel, and must forge cooperative and mutually supportive relationships between company organizations. The Quality Systems Manager will be expected to direct management/supervisory teams in order to coordinate the implementation of quality programs and problem solving efforts.  He/She is also expected to serve as a problem solving resource for all departments and in support of all processes that contribute to product or service quality, as it is perceived by the company’s internal and external customers.   Dairy, cheese making, quality background/experience is required as well as food science or related education.
<b>QUALIFICATIONS: </b><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or 5 years equivalent experience in the field of Quality Systems Management or related field.Certification from the American Society for Quality in Quality Management (CQM), Quality Auditing (CQA) or Quality Engineering (CQE), or related field, is preferred. </li><li>Understanding of applicable Federal and local GMP, Quality and Food Safety regulations is preferred. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and employees. Knowledgeable and competent in the use of word processing and spreadsheet software (Access, Excel, Word, Prism, and AS400). </ul></li>

Position responsible for overseeing the purchasing and estimating functions of the company.  You must ensure the company is purchasing quality materials, labor and service at the most competitive rate available in the market. <br>

Duties and Responsibilities:<br>
<br>
•	Responsible to negotiate labor, material, rebate and model discount contracts with all construction vendors and suppliers<br>
•	Maintain good working relationships with vendors involved in the construction <br>
•	Oversee all changes to product and product pricing <br>
•	 Oversee the product change request program<br>
•	Quality control of all negotiated contracts<br>
•	Supervise as required<br>
•	Assist Director of Operations with value engineering of all plans<br>
•	Assist Director of Construction with vendor improvement plans<br>

Required skills:<br>

•	Ability to manage relationships (internal and external) in a professional manner<br>
•	Cost accounting type experience helpful<br>
•	Must be organized<br>
•	Managerial skills and the motivation to delegate, direct or monitor, as the need arises<br>

•	Strong interpersonal skills<br>
•	Highly motivated, disciplined, and self-directed<br>
•	Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook<br>
•	Previous management experience	 <br>

Education:<br>

•	4-year degree preferred<br>
•	Education/Experience in residential/commercial construction desirable<br>

Job Description: <br>
This position will work with Project Managers to design, develop and maintain detailed resource-loaded schedules in MS Project or Primavera and keep those schedules current by monitoring actual progress, comparing it to the baseline and reporting progress against schedule.  Facilitate and lead status meeting.  Analyze schedule variances, and work closely with Project Managers and functional organizations to develop recovery plans and/or corrective actions.  Work closely with the project accountant to establish and maintain an Earned Value Management System.  Identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.  Analyze validity of schedules submitted by outside parties contributing to the risks.<br>
Forecast the impacts on schedule of proposed changes.  Analyze effects of projects upon efficient methods of obtaining the required resources.  Assist management, project managers and colleagues to understand and accept scheduling concepts, theory, and alternative approaches in scheduling project activities.  Archive actual schedule achievements for estimating future similar projects<br>

Required Experience and Skills:<br>
4 years experience managing master schedule for a complex engineering development program involving hardware and software development, multiple sub-component integration, system testing, and operational test acceptance, or 5 years experience managing the schedule for a single engineering project.<br>
 <br>
4 years experience with MS Project and one year experience with Primavera, including conducting dependency analysis, identifying the critical path, resource loading, project linking, and cost/schedule integration.<br>
 <br>
Experience creating, maintaining, and tracking integrated master project schedules for programs which exceed $5m a year in cost.<br>
 <br>
Experience working with project managers to develop and maintain detailed schedules and assist the project managers in keeping these schedules current.  Coordinating with program management the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall Master Program Schedule.<br>
 <br>
Ability to design, develop, and maintain detailed resource-loaded schedules in MS Project and Primavera.  Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.  Highly motivated and results oriented.  Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. <br>
