In this position, you will assist in evaluating, designing, and building firmware for new high-performance mass storage controllers that will optimize performance, endurance and reliability for the target markets. You can expect to work closely with fellow firmware engineers, system hardware design engineers, product engineers, Flash memory design engineers, and production engineers to solve cross-functional design issues. </p> 
<p>Responsibilities for this position include development of structured source code targeting the embedded environment associated with Solid State Drives. Additionally, you will verify design using a variety of verification methods, including simulation, FPGA prototyping, and product testing. Your focus will also be on firmware quality in the system and the target application. As needed, you will develop new test tools and methods. Using analysis equipment or software, you will demonstrate the effective analysis of functional or performance issues with the firmware and hardware in test environments or target host systems.</p>
<p>Successful candidates for this position will have:<ul>
<li>At least two years or equivalent experience in embedded firmware development. 
<li>Proficiency in firmware design using assembly and C programming. 
<li>Proficiency in debugging in an embedded firmware application. 
<li>Proficiency in using ARM development tools and IDE such as Eclipse, and Realview. 
<li>Experience in test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic/bus analyzers are optional, but desired. 
<li>The ability to analyze complex firmware and hardware issues. 
<li>A high level of skill in problem recreation and trapping. 
<li>A high level of skill in identifying performance critical algorithms for optimization. 
<li>The ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems. 
<li>A working knowledge of digital hardware design is optional, but highly desired. 
<li>Knowledge of mass storage systems (hard disk), Flash memory, and device drivers (preferred).

We are being asked to bid work by a company that uses Pro-E as their software of choice. We will need to design and read drawings and prints from Pro-E. What we are looking for is someone who has a ProE seat that they own and we could call them in as needed to perform jobs. This isn't currently a permanent position, but it may work in that direction if desired by both parties.<br>

Micron is seeking a Technical Program Manager in the Memory Systems Development Group to manage SSD product development programs.</p>
 
<p>As a Technical Program Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: </p>

<li>Lead cross-functional development teams through the product lifecycle activities; teams can include representatives from other functional areas such as

	<li>R&D Engineering firmware and hardware </li>
<li>Product and Segment Marketing for product feature/performance targets </li>

<p>Successful candidates for this position will have: </p>

<li>A minimum of five years of experience in a technical / engineering role in product development / R&D </li>
<li>A minimum of three years experience as a senior-level program manager in the high-tech industry developing system-level products </li>
<li>The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand marketing and engineering needs and translate them into actionable plans, deliverables, and resource requirements </li>
